sound is important in this short. No one talks, but the music is key.
As far as what it is exactly, it's a tribute to Jim Hensen. And by the way, did I mention it was brilliant? :p

Is this work-safe?

it's not obscene, if that's what you're asking. you do need to listen to it though, so if you're worried about people hearing it and thinking you're goofing off, then no, i guess it isn't

exactly. It's all music, so if you are allowed to listen to music then it's all good.
just as "brilliant", but a little dated. (http://fm.cdpa.nsysu.edu.tw/fun/funbat/FB045_sicaf_sand.wmv)

I think it seems creepy perhaps if you don't really know what is going on?
Basically, it's a tribute to Jim Henson. The "puppets" obviously resembiling Kermit the Frog, find their creator dead in his studio, but they do not understand what is going since they were never confronted with such a concept (somewhat like small children, who don't really understand the concept of death until they get older). So they try to carry on like nothing has happened. It's only when something hits him (when at the table) and his head falls flat is when they finally start to understand.
I interpreted the scene with him raising his arms and them mimicing him as the final tribute, ... he is in a sense, their Father, since he created them. When his hands start moving with the wires, that too signifies him as a Father-figure, since he created them, he is in fact a part of them.
I think it's a gorgeous animation, it's all in 3D and looks that good, and it is a gorgeous story that they have portrayed.
oh, i got it, and it was cool and all.......but it still creeps the hell outta me.

if you read my description a few posts up, you'd understand why they are playing with their dead creator. ;)
