Yeah, this could go in "other music" but I don't go there very often, so it's going here.

What are some misinterpreted lyrics you've had in the past?

I've thought "Do it like a lady" when it's actually "Dude looks like a lady," but my favorite has to be from when I was really little, and heard "Excuse me while I kiss this guy," from Hendrix's Purple Haze.

i thought marilyn manson's "beautiful people" was
"just gimme the meatball"
and
"the bubbly beachball"

oh and in bohemian rhapsody, the bit that goes "so you think you can stone me and spit in my eye.."
i thought it was "so you think you can stone me and spinach my eye" :o

But I was very little. My older brother still brings that one up whenever I see him. :o
