"God bless you."
-- that's, like, the one decent thing about the movie Gigli.
It's not as world-falls-apart-awful as some would suggest, but it's a pretty bizarre train wreck of a movie.

In another thread, I thought I fell to a new low by mentioning that I read (past tense) Cosmopolitan.

The read scare.
Yeah, well. So I did watch it. A lady I've talked to at the record store recommends it.
Actually, it's a sign that's posted in the store which she authored, so she doesn't know I took her recommendation. But I figured if I dug it, I could thank her and we'd have more to talk about.
I don't think it's quite howlingly awful enough to make a big deal out of, recommendation-wise, but God knows the movie doesn't work.
It does give Christopher Walken a scene in which he just gets to do his thing, and... man he's good. He gets to do some stuff in three or four minutes he probably wouldn't get to in almost any other movie, so bless his heart. And Martin Brest's, I guess.
Imagine a movie Tarrantino wrote on a napkin and through out, but some novice scooped up and decided to film poorly. You get the idea.

I didn't know that about Christopher Walken. (I didn't know that he was in that movie, even if it's just a cameo. I love him. I could see the movie in fast-forward mode just to get to his scenes.) He is such a strange guy. Wonder if he's like that in real life.
