why are girls so catty and dumb? seriously, what is it? how do you make it stop?

cort and I have several guy friends and somehow a few of them have accidentally gotten themselves involved with these two crazy girls I'll call Angela and Betty. We've met them several times, and been at the same parties since at least january. Our good friend Adam flirted with Angela, but she had a boyfriend, so he flirted with Betty and asked her out. Angela was furious and said stuff like, "if I didn't have a boyfriend, I'd like you" and so on. But Adam was like, "fuck that, I just wanna bang chicks, not start a relationship". When Adam picked up Betty for a date, Angela was there and then started crying as they left.

Meanwhile, everytime we see these girls, they glare at us.

Cut to a few months ago, our friend Chad was talking to Angela and this other super-scenester chick at the bar, but stopped and talked to us when we got there. As we left, we were like, "DO NOT GO HOME WITH HER! THAT CHICK IS CRAZY MAN!" and he just kind of laughed. Turns out they were actually starting to date at that time, so we felt like jerks. She started getting too posessive, so he had to end it soon after.

Recently, we started hanging out with Chad and his friend Chad2 a lot. We play uno, draw pictures, watch movies, sing songs, etc. We also go to parties and bars together. Angela is not happy about this (Betty doesn't care because she appears to be dating this guy who dated our friend of the same name and who is thought to be the worst kisser in the world).

Anyway, at this party on sunday, Chad2 and I started playing badminton, and out of nowhere, Angela jumps in and long story short Chad2 had to climb a tree and get a racket and it fell and hit her on the head and then she punched him and he was really confused. While she was punching him, Cort and I were talking to Chad1 and she asked Chad2, "who is Chad talking to?" AND SHE'S MET US AT LEAST 12 TIMES!

later that night, she texted Chad1 saying, "your counterpart is mean, also...I'm sad". and she keeps calling Chad2 leaving messages and he doesn't even want to talk to her.


there's more stuff, but this is getting boring. my main point is this:

well, not nothing...we get a little slap and tickle every now and again, but no dates or anything.....

I suppose it's better to have fun and friendship, even though I'd like to touch some of those friends on their bathing suit parts. shh, don't tell them though.

yeah, that's what I figure for myself, but cort's not fat.

They're both pretty hot I guess. More pretty I'd say. They don't dress slutty or anything though and Angela has very thin hair that's kind of nasty sometimes. They're the type of girls that talk to everyone and know everyone...and we just don't even try really. It's all a fucking scene and we just happened to have fallen into it because our friends are in bands and scenesters go to shows. oh right, plus I'm unfriendly and I hate small talk so I'm no good at schmoozing.

a lot of the boys we know are really cute too, so I imagine girls get upset about the fact that after chatting with them, they always come back over to us for the funny, and then leave with us. like, "omg, why is he talking to that fat chick for so long?" (that's just honesty there, I'm making an educated guess...I'm not fishing, I've thought similar things about other people because in some cases I am the very definition of a petty bitch).

perhaps the problem is that we've made ourselves into dudes. although they're always saying we look cute/beautiful/stylish/hot. so, who knows, maybe the boys just need to grow up?

When I was 18, I was hanging out with this group of girls in their early 20's who used to party-it-up like a bunch of rockstars that you never seen before. They were like guys and when they liked a guy, the nigga just didn't get it, including myself. Maybe it was just because I was young at the time, I look back on some of the shit that she used to say to me or shit that we would do and I think "how could I be so fucking stupid, this girl wanted it." But this was the time I started dating Alison, so it didn't much matter anyway.

The girl (not Alison) is getting married in November. It is a little wierd.

ah, well, after the dinner suggestion, I waited a few days, then called and left a message that got cut off and I didn't call back (for fear of reinacting Swingers) he never called back, so then I sent him an email that said that I called and he said, "oh, so you were the mystery mumbler", but said nothing about dinner again, only about how he's fucked because his drummer quit and they already have an east coast tour planned, then I was busy and didn't write him back until a few days later (last tuesday) asking if the next day would be alright because I needed to be out of the house so that Cort could try to make out with one of the Chads on our designated movie night, and the email was lighthearted and silly, but he wrote back a deadpan message about how it was too last minute and could I please not send him messages on myspace anymore because email is easier, but also how he doesn't even like email (which he has said, from the beginning, he prefers phone calls).

so I wrote back and explained that I didn't mean to insinuate that he could just drop everything for me, just that I was taking a gamble that he'd be free, and that I was going to see tori amos in the park downtown anyway and that I'd call him thursday afternoon and that email was banished.

and I never called. because I don't like being treated like a desperate groupie. if he's gonna suggest dinner, then be all vague and shit, then fuck him. I'd love for it to work out, but I'm not about to beg for it. life's too short.

as to the "why do you want to date these guys?", I guess I don't really...I just wish a nice magical beautiful boy would appear out of nowhere and sweep me off my feet. I blame disney.
