I'd have been happy if either Antony and the Johnsons, The Go! Team or M.I.A. won... and Antony and the Johnsons did! Maybe the Mercury award (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/music/4217140.stm) isn't that bad.

That award used to have some good bands but not now.

But I've changed music tastes since liking the Mercury Award so maybe i've grown and the award hasn't?
