Next week, I'm off to the neurologist cause I've got continual pins-and-needles (parasthesia for those in the trade) in my right thumb and forefinger and intermittent parasthesia in the rest of my arm.

My bloods are fine, so no tumor. My local doc reckons its just a pinched nerve but we can't figure out how it happened. The upshot is its MRI time and some other funky test I can't remember the name of. In all likelyhood everythings fine, but still worrying because I've never had to visit a specialist for anything before and fronting up to the neuro is a tad frightening. If it was a physio or something I wouldn't blink twice, but the brain doc........I dunno.

Yeah jeez I hope you're alright man, I know that a brain doctor would freak me out too. I get pins and needles quite often in one foot, its a pain in the ass(or foot:rolleyes: ). Usually I have to do something to cause it, ie sit on it for a few seconds, stand on one foot, basically put a bit of extra pressure on it. But it only happens on one foot. Weird  I dunno, it doesnt happen when i put pressure on it from running, playing cricket etc, but it does happen when I put pressure on the bad foot and none on the other...

Don't sweat it man...seeing a specialist is nothing to be worried about if anything it's better than a normal doc cus they really know their shit.
