seems to very trendy with a very young population here. at least when it comes to the stuff I read in papers... and also I notice VERY young kids smoking the doobie all around the parks, etc. just 30 mins ago when I came to work 2 kids maybe 12-13 old were giving each other smokey kisses in front of the office door. they fucked off looking embarrassed before I could tell them "don't worry, I'm not gonna tell yo momma"

I dunno, I guess kids are drinking, doping and fucking in GENERAL at a younger age nowadays.

in general, smoking here is pretty much the same than drinking beer. you do it, no one cares. hard to say if it's trendy or not cause people smoke everywhere all the time anyway.

But uh...in Michigan, when I was living there, None of the kids went around saying "420!". You just knew who the white punks on dope were because they were the kids who didn't go to school a lot and wore Vans with no socks.

Well, in the 80's...all the kids I went to middle school with in the Bay Area grew up to be cokeheads. Especially the girls.

But now it seems like the "in" drug is pot. Marijuana is the new pink. Pass it on.

Some kids should not be smoking pot. period. this is one of many reasons it needs to be legalized. By making it all counter culture then the wrong kids pick it up and fuck up their lives.

I made it out alive, but I think that's cause i didn't start messing with it until I was 18. I was too drunk to realize it was out there lol.

I shouldn't have been a heavy weed smoker. I fucked my first year at uni up completely, and destroyed most of my friendships because all I was able to do was go "uuuhhhh?".

You do, however, bring up a very valid point. I definately don't knock people who smoke the reefer, because I have a fair amount of friends who use it. I simply choose not to because I don't really feel the desire to. I've heard a lot of arguments in defense of pot, and I simply say 'Hey, it's your body yo, you know what you can handle.'

High school, for me. All of my stoner buddies from HS have gone to college far away from me, and my friends now don't smoke. So I don't smoke either. I miss it, but I don't think it'd be the same with new people.

everything's so accessible now. it's not hard for a kid to find liquor or weed at all.

a lot of times it's just normal, have fun on the weekend stuff. that's how it is for me and my friends.

but some kids, you can already see them fucking up their life, skippin school to go get high.

As far as I know it's always been trendy. I think it got it's first big kick off in the 50's and it just kinda stayed even since.

I remember in the early 90's the trendy thing to do was going to the hemp festivals and such. Also alot of it has to do with your area in which you live too.

Not really, we just club together to buy a 2 ounce at a time and we know the people who grow it so we cut out about 8 middlemen :D

Only problem is driving around with that much skunk.

Anyway, I can get wasted on about 3 or 4 joints. It takes about 8 pints to get wasted like that so when I do the maths I could buy about half an ounce with what I spend on beer and you get a better high!
