it's says linux users can use GAIM - which is what I have but there is no Google Talk option on my GAIM account. Hmmmmmm

ICQ was my first instant messenger thing. Got an account arouuuund... 97 I guess.

Haven't used it regularly for years though. Still have it configured in gaim but never even log in.

ICQ was very popular in Canada, circa 1998-1999. I had ICQ...and I even downloaded the new version on my Dell earlier this year. I only know one person who religiously uses ICQ. The rest of the IMs I'd receive on there were links for porn sites.
