I think that perception and memory changes your spirit, so I really wonder if having memory erased would possibly reverse damage already done, you know? Like: if you're already bitter, you'd probably just manufacture John G's wherever you went anyway (see: Memento).

I'm gonna sound like a heartless bitch, but the best advice is simple and painful.

GET
OVER
IT

It's a waste of time to think about it if there's no chance of going back.

I know it hurts and I'm not on your place, but I've been there and I know that as fast as you get over it as much you enjoy life.

I use to wish that too. But he lost all of the good memories as well. Over time, you forget the bad and remember the good. Better yet, you are lucky enough to find someone to out of sight and out of mind.

Sorry to go against MSF but you are going to feel like this for awhile. :(

i agree word for word with chewie. memories are what makes you who you are and the time you spent with her is valuable.

my advice: go and buy KT Tunstall's CD Eye to the Telescope :)

Well, he is gonna feel like that, that's for sure, we can't control our feelins that well, but the more he tries to enforce the feeling that it's a waste of time to think about it over and over, then the better he will feel, the sooner he will get over it. And I'm not talkin about how short like is and all that cliche, but seriously we make things way too complicate when it's simpler than we think. I've got lots of problems too, but once I deal with them in a rational and simple way then it makes me feel much better and easier to get over them. We gotta be tough on ourselves sometimes. We gotta be cold sometimes and stop feeling sorry for ourselves.

It's not, but I like to be rational. For some people it's easier. Maybe it's a escape. I don't know. I uess it's a personal thing. I mean, when I get disappointed at someone or something it's such a strong feeling that I don't even cry about it or get angry I move on easily, I guess. It's just me. I feel bad for the people who are weaker though. I'm a bit harsh, I know.

i realize it'll pass and I almost feel worse when I think of how in a few months I won't even care about her. the idea that the last two years were heading towards this is what hurtst the worst.

I'm also used to relationships crumbling slowly not this out of the blue punch in the face type break up.

one night, we're having sex- the following afternoon she says she feels nothing for me.

Yeah, I love that movie, but it depresses me too. Especially the boredom that Jim Carrey always seems to be stuck on.

take it from someone with battle scars, there are other girls/women/ladies/broads/wenches/dames out there.

just know that there was nothing you could have done to fix things.

as my 17 yr old sister once told me, 80% of women are either crazy or whores. be well. (y)
