today in gym i brought in my hello nasty cd and we got to jog to it. the song we jogged to was intergalactic. that was the only song that i knew of that was school appropriate. but my class thought it was techno music. (n)

How could they think that was techno!!! Maybe that robot talking thing? Did they know who they were though, or like it?

The boys are so far beyond genre's, that I can totally see how they thought it was techno... Not that it is a bad thing... specially if they are not into the boys as much as we are... I mean hip-hop and techno go hand in hand...

i hear from other classmates that our gymn teacher will put on some bboys in gym. so now i cant wait for gym like usual (y)

Yeah, I've had friends that thought it was techno, too. The turntablism should have been a giveaway, let alone the RAPPING and lyrics like "from the family tree of old school HIP HOP".

one time i made my gym teacher a mix of all beasties cause he is a big beastie fan and we listened to it everyday during our warmups it was awesome

Well, they wanted a song with no racy rhymes or cussing. and it was sort of a last minute thing, so, i just brought in intergalactic.

Damn you're lucky. When I was in elementary school, for gym class, we did warmups to songs such as "Hands Up Give Me Your Heart".
