my idea involves two people. i'll dress up in stars and stripes and uncle sam type stuff, and he'll dress up in a sickle and hammer and alot of red clothing. we'll sit on opposite sides of the room and stare menacingly at each other. every now and then we'll bump into each other on the way to the fridge and yell alot and make a lot of threats but never actually fight. at some point he'll bang his shoe on the table.

it's not totally fleshed out yet but my only other idea is a barbershop quartet and i can't sing.

i dont want to start a new thread for halloween costumes so i'm bumping this one. i've got a killer idea; i wanna go as an ipod commercial. i'll wear black clothes, paint my face black, maybe wear a black hat, and wear my white headphones (it's a zen micro, but who's looking?) and dance all crazy like.

i'm thinking that the ipod thing is going to be hard to do, and i dont really want to paint my face or dye my hair or anything. i also dont want people to think i'm trying to do darkface or something. and another problem is that it probably wouldn't be safe to go outside at night, wearing all black from head to toe, which i may or may not want to do at some point.

so instead i think i'm going to be gambit, from the x-men. my roommate is going as wolverine, he talked me into it. i'm tall, i've got the hair for it, it's easy enough to throw around playing cards. I've got most of the costume figured out, but what's giving me trouble is the headwear part.

i have no idea what to do about that. it's like, it covers all of the head, right up to the bottom of the hair, except the face. i'm trying to think of what i could do to make something that looks like that. i thought about cutting the face and ears out of a neck warmer, but that would be too fuzzy. any ideas?
