I can't believe no one's posted this yet!

The members of Green Day, REM, the Beastie Boys, Pearl Jam and the Roots -- as well as John Cusack, Tim Robbins and Moby -- have joined with MoveOn.org to find housing for the thousands left homeless by the hurricane, People said.

It's been posted in the Press forum and we have a link on the homepage to HurricaneHousing.org, too.

No harm in posting it here too though.

I erased the part of it possibly being posted in the press, because as I looked over there, it looked more like interviews.

These new-fangled boards confuse me. :o
