something about 9/11, just the numbers alone, gives me a wierd feeling. I know it's related to September 11th, but whenever I see those numbers somewhere ese together, I remember....

For some reason whenever I look at the time on the computer, at least 5 days a week when I look it says 9:11am or pm, its hell weird.

My friend's going on a blind date tonight with a guy I'm setting her up with. I really hope they start dating exclusively, so they can have the most grim anniversary ever. (y)

Don't worry, I think all the news outlets are a bit too busy with the 24/7 Hurricane Katrina/Anarchy/Body Retrieval Watch to show the planes crashing on a loop.

I'd like to make a bet with you, Ms. Medallia. I say that Bush is going to somehow compare Katrina to 9/11 and the need for strong leadership, because that's what Rove would have him do.
I fully anticipate that, along with an intersplicing of material: first, people in downtown N.O. begging for help, then people crying at ground zero asking for help, then a picture of our glorious leader walking and waving to the people around him. (Fox news only, though.)

no, they'll be busy trying to tie in all of the deaths and trying to prove how there is some crazy force that caused the hurricane to ALMOST HAPPEN ON THE 11TH OMG INTERNET.

And more so, isn't it even crazier that both attacks came from the east, from overseas?
I think that Bush should state that we need to continue our efforts in Iraq, especially now since they sent a killer hurricane to our shores, those bastards.

I would take that bet, but I'm sure he will try to tie them together somehow.

How about a $5 Red Cross donation? I say that it'll be a 9/11 circus tomorrow, regardless. They'll still keep Katrina on, but 9/11 will be just as big.

You knows it!
It shouldn't count if just FAUX news is in on it though. At least one CREDIBLE news channel has to dedicate more than five minutes to it.

Dammit, my beautiful plan is foiled!
That's okay. I shall still stick to my original accusation of the media being whores for 9/11.

You just wait. I live near DC, which means news reporters are all around here. And I can be PRETTY CONVINCING when I wanna be. Like, I'll threaten to blow their station's cover by exposing the whole prostitution deal Chuck the weatherman had when he was still addicted to crystal meth and painkillers.
Oh yes.
