I don't like capri pants

I just don't. Capri pants, cropped pants, clam diggers, pedal pushers, high waters...whatever. I don't think they're flattering on anyone whose figure doesn't resemble Audrey Hepburn's. I think they make women look short and their legs look stumpy. I see women in them all the time and I'm sure they think they look cute. In theory it's a great idea. "I don't want to wear shorts because my thighs are fat and when I walk they ride up my crotch and when I sit down on vinyl seating my skin sticks to it so I'll wear these, nice and breezy and so cute too" In theory it works but when you actually put them on, not so much. Sometimes if the girl is really short it just looks like she's wearing her older sister's shorts and then you think her older sister must be 8 feet tall. Pants that are cuffed so as to be ankle length look alright to me. But capri pants, I say (n)

There's a difference though between cropped and capris. Capris are the ones that are shorter and tighter where cropped are just above your ankles, but do not grip in the tapered way that capris do. I have to agree with you on the I HATE CAPRI PANTS. I do like cropped pants though. :o

In Zurich, I saw loads of guys wearing capris.

When I've had to dress more at work, I've worn longer capris with nice tops & sandals because they're a cooler alternative to long pants.

I've decided that I don't like the longer capris because they're confusing--they wind up looking like long pants that are too short.

I think you're right in that capris (the long or the short styles) aren't flattering on most women, me included. I wore them anyway because doing that beat the alternative.

I know guys who like women who are not thin but not fat. Girls in that category who are, say, <30, they tend to just look curvy with maybe a tiny bit of extra fat. But >30, they tend to get overweight. Then >40 they tend to get jiggly and wider (the wide part is weird). And >50, they tend to get downright fat. I think I'd rather be on the thin side.

Since I've been preggers and the whole 'strong smell' thing is upon me, I can't tell you how noticeable other people's body smells are to me these days. Several times I have had to get up and move seats on the bus or the tube. Sometimes it's the armpit kind of smell, or a cologne/perfume, or if someone is a heavy smoker and they have that nicotine fug about them. I mean, as a regular public transportation user, I've always been aware of this stuff, but it's not been particularly bothersome. But now? I just cannot stand it. Cannot.
