I don't see why people are copping attitude for not being able to be in this contest. If you want, go start your own contest if it means that much to you. But to give the people that organized this grief for having a deadline and enforcing it is crap.

And for what it's worth, i'm not in the contest because.....that's right....i'm too late. But having people hear and hopefully enjoying my mixes means more to me than any contest.

i don't wanna bother nobody, but maybe you (the organizators) should make a poll in the beastie general or remix forum, so everybody would vote. I mean, probably lots of people won't vote if they have the need of registering somewhere else. you could link the remixes hosted in beastieplaza and for sure give props to this fine site so everybody would check it

yeah that's probably what's going to happen. there's a mash-up comp coming up at beastieplaza.nl so the new remix comp i will probably organise for around springtime, except this one will be much better advertised, no sign-up required to vote etc. i suppose this was more of a beta competition.

it'll go off with a bang...hopefully...
