I dunno if I agree that iTunes is "gay as fuck", but thanks for the heads up on the new songs.

Hey man, play nice. If you have nothing nice to say................well you know the rest.
BTW, for whoever bashed iTunes, what are you crazy? Sure, it has it's downfalls, but overall it's incredibly convenient and comprehensive. More power to them. Get used to it brother, cause it's gonna be around for awhile.
And lastly, I'm surprised to hear the name swollen members. I was just listening to them today and realized that I haven't heard anything new from them since Bad Dreams, I think it was called. I'm sure they've had releases since then, but I've been out of the loop. Are they still making good records? (hopefully)

True, songs are a buck. Unless you get the album for 9.99.
You can convert the mp4s to mp3 if you want.... although it is a bit of a pain I guess.

My oldest and one of my best friends did a beat for their new album. Mr Vegas is on the track with them. I'm not a huge Swollen fan, but the new album is pretty raw, supposedly.

all the people talking shit about swollen members shut the fuck up. yes, of course their last album was complete garbage, but madchild and prevail are pretty dope mc's. in fact, madchild went to the b-boy summit in new york and battled and was inducted into the legendary rock steady crew for his rhyming skills, look it up if you don't believe me. as much as i love the beasties but their rhymes are pretty weak, mad and prev can out rhyme the beasties any day of the week.

Ive seen them live twice
once on an indian reserve where the "stage" was made out of old logs and tarps and the "concession" consisted of beer out of a cooler, a pig roasting on a spit over an open fire with bannock as the side dish and they had a local rapper on stage with them who is in a wheelchair and he had topless girls riding on his chairarms
oohhhh highschool :/
but yeah, I like em and they like denny's

Musicians like any other person need food and a roof over their head.
Despite what MTV and other commercial media outlets make it seem like, the huge majority of musicians don't rake in the bucks like Britney, Coldplay, etc do. Actually most musicians live like "regular" people and many just barely scrape by & have to have a second job to make ends meet.
Read more about this here. (http://www.arancidamoeba.com/mrr/problemwithmusic.html)

Apple wants to stay in business.
-u HAVE to use there software which doesnt run on anything less than XP
See above. The use of XP? That does suck (I'm still using Windows ME  ).

Well, actually it's turned out to be an extremely successful business model and helps all kinds of musicians to expose their music in a way they never could by themselves. I'm no fan of Big Business (see my posts in the political forum & elsewhere) but it does take a certain amount of money to make the world go 'round. As far as HOW much, that's for another thread. :)

Major music companies want iTunes to raise prices. (http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=61463)

Damn! Windows ME sucks ass IMO. Worse than XP thats for sure. I still run 98 because its so fast and not a RAM Hog like XP. Its funny to watch people with XP on a 256 Ram machine, talk about slow... Anyways back to the subject.
Has anyone heard any of the new tracks? There is also a new one, Swollen Members feat Everlast, that is really good called Put Me On. U can see them recording it if you watch the Heavy DVD. The track is sick but Black Magic is gonna be off the hook. (!)
