In ~1989, a friend of mine interviewed for a job in NJ and after the interview, they sent him like a 10-gallon tin of Mrs. Fields cookies. Assorted mix.
I'd never heard of those things before then but for about a month afterwards when I'd talk to that friend, it's about ALL he talked about. :D
(I like the fake Mrs. Fields cookies better than the real ones. The recipe for the fake ones went around the internet lots in the 1990s. One order makes a boatload of cookies. You'll have them for weeks. And then you'll be addicted.)
