settle an argument for me.

aztek (http://a332.g.akamai.net/f/332/936/12h/www.edmunds.com/media/reviews/top10/05.trucks.worst.residual.value/05.pontiac.aztek.500.jpg) (discontinued -- smart move. too bad they can't unmake it.)

element (http://www.edmunds.com/media/reviews/top10/hippest.vehicles/03.honda.element.f34.500.jpg)

tribeca (http://www.subaru-perm.ru/articles/images/34-11.jpg)

The Element always scares me for an instant because I wonder whether there's a casket inside.

Even so, the Aztek wins for coming in the ugliest assortment of colors seen since the early days of the Taurus.

i probably should have picked photos where the cars were all the same color because i want everyone to focus on the [flawed] design.

edit: thank you, thomas. :) i like you too. please vote.

my parents bought an element and at first I mocked the shit out of them but I kinda like it now. That subaru is HORRID.

It would have been impossible to find an aztek in a color shared by another car.

i swear equal opportunity laws are fucking up the car industry. all these designs look like they're done by fucking retards. even the new Bugatti looks like shit

I went with the Element, but it was a tough call between that and the Aztek. The Element just looks too much like a cheap plastic version of an already-cheap Iron Curtain -era Eastern European police vehicle. I found the Tribeca the least offensive, which is not to say it's not ugly.

It had to be the Aztek for me. The Element is boxy but I could live with it because it's quite a clever design inside. Don't know anythig about hte Subaru, except they were intelligent enough not to import it to the UK.
The Aztek looks like the designer got drunk during his lunch break and finished it in a hurry.

i remember a couple of years ago i was watching a jeremy clarkson's top 100 cars movie and he had the fucking Fiat Multipla in his list! that was the first time i was introduced to that car. WTF?! it's the most random gaylord car i've seen in my life. i'm sure he had it higher in the list than a fucking Lotus Esprit, only coz he didn't like the gearbox in the esprit

Fiat have now changed the front end of the Multipla because it was so controversial. It's still ugly though.

They have been using those as cabs in Italy for ages.

First time I sat in one was in Florence, I looked around inside and I said...

"Wow, from the inside they look pretty cool"

My aunt diplomatically tried to add: "They are kind of nice from the outside too..."

Me and the cab driver in chorus: "Naaaah"

the instant the aztek came out I hated it. From the back it is super ugly. wins hands - down for me

who are the design wizards that came up with that one?

I've seen a few tweaked out Element's in some magazines and thought they looked kinda cool, but that Aztec is just hideous. The other one looks like a poor man's Lexus but isn't that bad

here's the deal. beth exclaimed that the TRIBECA was thee ugliest vehicle, ever. i offered up the hideous PONTIAC AZTEC to grant the TRIBECA some consolation. i agree it is aestheticly challenged, but compared to the AZTEC it sucks considerably less.

uh yeah.

like moa i found the element sort of grew on me. i liked the versatility is promised. it seems like an aight vehicle to sleep in, if you had to. you can load lots of people and gear in it for assorted extremness.

in order of ugliness:

aztec
tribeca
element

That's a Volvo, not a Subaru.

the aztec sucks hands down. a friend of mine had an element last season, and she piled a retarted amount of people and boards into (i think maybe 9) so we could get to an event at the top of the village.....mmm, good memories.

I don't know to much about the subaru, But in the element all the seats fold down flat. So you can hump all over that thing. I think the aztec is an ugly peice of crap.

Last night I saw this (http://www.mbusa.com/brand/models/G500.jsp) on the road, Mercedes' new SUV, G500 Grand Edition. Looked stupid. Almost like a jeep but because it's Mercedes and looks delicate, made me think of those Louis Vuitton sneakers - delicate designer leather athletic shoes not meant for actual athletics.

The Aztek is by far the ugliest. There is someone that drives one of those shitboxes where I work and to just look from the side isn't as bad as looking from the rear of it for some reason. The hatch resembles that of a fucking Omni or some shit and really accentuates the overall ass-ness of this piece of shit. Seriously, every day I walk by that ride and ask myself "Who the fuck would buy this?" RETARDED.

i first noticed the original domestic available G-Wagon (http://www.campmapleleaf.org/Gwagen_01.jpg) a few years ago in the Du Pont registry and immediately took a shine to it. even the latest G offering, smokes all the above weak-ass offerings; and is definitely better than the M-class (http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2005/03/16/013968.1-lg.jpg)

...different strokes i reckon.

I have to agree with the good Dr D. The new G is pretty damn cool. My friend had one of the old ones and it really was purely a utility vehicle, like the Land Rover Defender (ie. a bit like a tank).

i dig the mercedes g500 as well. it's pretty fucking sweet. a kid i went to law school with had one (in addition to his escalade and his mercedes sl500) and he said it was his "favorite mercedes."

The Aztek just goes to show you the excitment pontiac has to offer. Cripes.

The subaru looks like something from the Dune movie. Shouldn't it be sucking up spice and getting me ready for hyperjump?
