Why dont the Beasties do certain songs live. Like Boomin Granny for example, a well known loved beastie song to most fans, yet never been done live. There are some other songs that arent ever done live, post some people.

Yes and No.

They played it (probably) every show in the last tour in 98. I don't think they played it at all this last time out.

There's a few, but the one thing I'd be really keen on, or would've been keen on, is for more songs off TT5B. I'd love to hear rhyme the Rhyme Well or Oh Word? done live, and I think they'd slide into the setlists nicely.

Didnt they play Rhyme the Rhyme Well on TT5B tour?? I think I downloaded a live bootleg where they played this song.......I got to check it out

You're right. I dont think they played Remote Control that often on the last tour. But for sure they played it on the Hello Nasty tour

back with the madonna tour they did rock hard...but not since.

I wish they done remote control this last tour as well.....i think it would been great to do..for the encore...

This would have been great because on the tour it was..gratitude then sabotage. Adrock seemed to lose his voice sometimes while doing sabotage. I think by doing gratitude then remote control..then sabotage....would have made sabotage even better

I'd like Remote Control live a lot more if it was over a beat on the decks. The drums live just don't cut it for me. But that's just me.

I'm with Dave on Oh Word? and Rhyme the Rhyme Well.

Also, Brr Stick 'em has 'Second Song' all over it.

I'm not so sure but I think they only played it on Virgin Tour. I think there's some legal problems around Rock Hard because AC/DC never let them use the riffs. Am I talking bullshit here or this just make sense?? :D

AdROcks voice seems to crack like Peter Brady at times....i dont think he seems to mind. I don't either. :D

Yeah, i never thought of that. They did have alot of legal issues. My boys been in and out of the courts. And not just the basketball courts.

Would you be disappointed if they did "ROCK HARD" with a fresh new loop or sample of there own? I take it the beat could remain the same? Is there a remix? :p

To me those songs are just too good to have not been put in regulary on a tour off the back of TT5B, and yeah, I could totally see Brr Stick 'Em kicking in after whatever opener they choose.

They definitely did Rock Hard on the one bootleg I have from when they opened for Madonna. In fact, I think it's Rock Hard that they actually lip-synched to for some reason.

i heard them do Oh Word AND Three The Hard Way for the first time on both. It was cool. Minton or tpk would have to confirm if Rhyme The Rhyme Well was also played at the shows I was at - I think it was, but can't remember...

I don't know why they don't cover songs. Like "You got another thing coming" or "Zoom a zoom zoom and a boom boom."

Nah, they didn't play that. You were at the Long Beach and San Francisco shows, right? So you would have heard Shazam for the first time I think, rather than Oh Word.

They've covered Minor Threat's Screaming at a Wall, and Quasar covered some Oasis song I think. They recently covered Run DMC last year at the Hip Hop Honors show.

I think that when they play the instrumental part of the show [somethings got to give, sabrosa, etc] an extended vesion of I don't know would be cool.

They also covered Minor Threat's Stand Up.
And I think Quasar covered Oasis' Wonderwall.
And dont forget the cover of Billy Joel's Big Shot
