Hasn't Tom Waits successfully sued for the same thing before? Why would anyone be stupid enough to try to copy him in this way when they know that there's a precedent that suggests its a bad idea?

The company apparoached him and he turned them down, so they went ahead with a sound-alike.

I guess that warrants something, but.... hmmm.

man, he's sued a lot of companies for the exact same thing. you'd think Opel would realise that wasn't a very bright idea
