I would at least wait until December when the special edition comes out. That's just me though.

Hell, I don't even know if that's accurate. That's what my roommate keeps citing as his reason for not having purchased it yet though.

Your roommate should be citing for his reason for not purchasing it yet, "The movie kinda sucks." :)

The only part I liked was when I saw the names of the people who made it.

That part was good.

The hype never reached me so I was pleasantly surprised.

I really liked it.

My alias is revealed.

Or maybe we just have the same opinion. Whatever.

it was alright. but still, nothing close to what I expected. for something in a similar, yet not identitcal style, LA Confidential is far superior.

Out of every ten movies you watch how many do you actually enjoy?

I didn't like that they didn't connect the stories at the end - they were alluding to it the whole time, with the car and all that jiz (yeah that's my new saying), but then it was like meh, we don't have enough time.

I wasn't sure about the narration from different characters, I would have preferred one narrator even if it wasn't their story.

I hate this, I can never remember the solid good reasons I had for not liking a movie, but I know I had good ones!

But, the yellow guy was freaky, I'll give it that much.

Brilliant casting, everyone delivered in my opinion. I though the art work was amazing.

I did think the stories would be more entwined than the whole "Hey look, they are looking at the same semi-naked girl."

Some of the bits were hilarious (the conversation with the dead guy in the car, some of Rourke's bits, the nazi guy getting shot with the arrow), some creepy (frodo  ) and it was in my opinion brilliantly balanced.

Just thought I'd elaborate on my opinion.

God knows why.
