mpeg -> mp3

All you technical wizards here, maybe someone can help me.
I filmed Magic Numbers on Friday doing Beyoncé's Crazy in love, but I had wrong settings on my camera so you can't really see anything. The sound is great so I was wondering if anyone knows a (free) program how to convert mpeg's to mp3's.

This (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/avi2mpg2.html) tool can split audio streams from video. It's not what it's intended to do but it can do the job :)

It's kind of complicated and has a lot of settings though...

It's intended to re-encode avi files to mpeg files but it can read mpeg files too.

Seeing as it encodes the audio and video separately you can tell it to not delete the audio stream after it's done re-encoding.
