Actually most of his fans don't suck, but the ones who do suck are very loud about it. And they can't clap in time.

I've never seen him get all up in anyone's face about it and I admire that.

I was at a Quiznos recently and they were playing Guero on the PA from start to finish. Usually, they loop some strange sets of music (I can't quite figure out the themes) so this was a nice change of pace.

Beck's baby has a baby-sized body with a full-sized Beck head on top. He looks just like Beck.

edit: I had a good laugh, not a mean one. I think it's hysterical when babies look like baby-versions of adults. I have friends who had twins and one of them is so animated in real life and in his photos--he is appropriately named Buster.

It's kinda hard to say. I don't know if he's ever come right out and said so, but he shouldn't have to either.

he recently did admit it in an interview, saying it had helped a lot of people improved their lives, and that was it. he's not all tom cruise about it.

other than that, i think he's pretty much perfect in every way and i'd love to have several of his babies.

i want to go see beck this coming sunday in cleveland, but i have no tickets...

all the sites are asking like $80 for $40 tickets, and i cant afford to pay for that AND for gas/tolls to get there...

Once at a Lloyd Cole concert there was a guy who kept clapping out of time, so much Lloyd had to tell him to stop.
When he came back a couple of years later there was again someone clapping out of time and Lloyd said "Oh it's you again!" How we laughed!

Coldplay fans clap in time! And they sing along quietly and sway excitedly without the awful midwestern "woo hoo"ing.

When Springsteen did his acoustic show this spring, he told people to stop clapping. I was sooooo thankful. He also told people not to "woo hoo." :)


Chris Martin also gets points for correctly identifying the city he was playing in each time. Beck got it wrong 3 of 3 times.
