Going to NYC and need things to do....

Ive never seen to NYC before, and im assuming there is tons of things to do and see there. Im going for 5 days, Oct 5th - 10th. For someone who has been there, could you give me some ideas of what you can do? Also bboy related, like, check out where they took the PB cover photo. Im hoping i can catch a U2 show and Yankees post season game, but at the moment, thats all ive got.
