I cant seem to load up the pictures stored in it. It worked earlier today with the digi cam but after that I went to see if I can load it onto the PC and it sends me a report that says no files saved in card. So I checked once more on the digi cam and now its saying card error. I tried cleaning it and and the whole jinks but nothing. Still having errors. :(
Can someone tell me whats going on? It just worked like a while ago and I just CANT load the images.

I'm not quite sure about your problem, but check if this (http://www.beastieboys.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=54929) can help. If it's similar to your problem I can send you the extractor that synch provided me.

since I am such a stranger to technology I am not not sure about "XD, SD, 64, 128, 256" means.
Oh well here are the full details.
Brand: Canon
Item: COMPACTFLASH CARD FC-8M

if it's an old CF card I still use my (somewhat drunken) statement above:
the card has come to an end. if it's an 8er CF card, no suprise really. ees old. remember when they said cd's are "immortal" as a format for putting music on them? well, they lied.
if you have pictures IN THERE you might wanna salvage, contact the closest photo shop nerd.
