The Beasties made the decision a long time ago to not do anything that they're not all collectively happy with.

As for the Brass monkey video, you refering to the one on the the new live DVD which isn't coming out til next year?! It'll be on the singles dvd, so sit tight. If its a different one you're after, apologies for my mistake.

It is a very simple situation. These guys trust each other because they made their carreers together. So if Yauch is the only cat putting the cd, dvd, etc together. Mike D and Ad Rock are saying "do your thing, i trust you".

On a side note, I talked to Peanut Butter Wolf ( http://beastiemania.com/interview/interviewpbwolf.php) about Madlib's albums on http://www.stonesthrow.com and he said Madlib can do what he wants to do. Why? Because PBW trusts Madlib so much that he knows the end result will be dope regardless. It's a friendship and trust thing.

P.S. Madlib should co - produced the hip hop tracks for the Beasties new album. He did the "Shake Your Rump" remix on the anthology
