It's going :) That's the main thing ;) I was thinking about getting a newer car for a while but not really sure, it's a lot of money for not much more. Like slightly more comfortable seats, air-con and power-windows. Plus, as it is now I can fix it easily if something goes wrong, which it hasn't since i put the new engine in 9 months ago or something, and it's still going strong and I cane it fairly hard :D Also, I like having a car that no one else has. It's like my own little rolls royce

i see banged up rusted P.O.S. old sprinters all the time. what engine did you put in? 4AC? 4AGE? 4AGZE (that'd be hawt!).

my mate who has a AE85 coupe` very similar to this (http://us1.webpublications.com.au/static/images/articles/i24/2409_8tb.jpg) can get his license back soon and i bet he's so eager to take it for a spin.

AE86's are everywhere yeah, KE-15's not so much. Between my friend and I we have probably met just about every KE-15 owner in the state, and that totals no more than 10, maybe a couple more in garages we don't know about. The engine is just a 4k which is a bigger block than the 1K which was in it. It's nothing super special, it was an old race motor with some mild work, the details of which I never did find out (dude was meant to get back to me.. meh, it goes :p), twin carbies, extractors and then some time in the hands of professionals to tune it and rebuild the carbies. It's not really that fast, but fast enough to overtake, which is really all I ever wanted :p Fuck it sucked being stuck behind grannies and trucks because it would take you 2km to get up the speed to overtake them
