somebody sent me some audio files, and i want to burn them onto a cd, but nero won't accept the file type, but they play fine on winamp
they are .m4a files
what program can i use to burn this cd?
Rock comes up with answers even though he is shrooming most of the time.

you can install xilisoft and convert them to mp3z

you can also convert with wavelab
I-tunes, real player, and shrooms are your best bet. Less steps to download either one of those and they work from the get go, no converting required.

i know i removed real player form my coputer ages ago, but i should still have itunes buried deep somewhere

You can convert it to a wav file with winamp.

i buy cd's like from a store and shit, and archive them on my pc with a lossless format. then i convert them to a high bitrate wma and put them on my mp3 player. i never even listen to the actual cd. i rip the cd look at the album art as it's ripping then i throw the case out and place the cd on an empty cd-r spoll. so all my cd's are store on cd-r spolls incase i ever need to rerip it again.

so i opened up itunes to go and rip the cd, and up pops an update thing and i figured i would get it since its free and i havent used itunes i along time, so a lot could have changed
well i started installing, and an hour later is still pissing around with installation of fucking quick time or some shit, i dont even know what. if its quicktime, i should allready have it on here, but it still just slowly churns away, and i dont even know why it needs to install all this crap
fucking macintosh...
