Take up online gaming. A good idea would be getting a MUD client (genewic win-mud, or "Gmud" for short would be my recommendation) and going on www.themudconnector.com and finding one that appeals.

It is like IRC, but you get to kill things.

If you NEED graphics, try www.runescape.com - although I'd recommend a MUD for a more individualistic RPG experience.

Alternatively, start writing a live-journal, contributing to fanfiction.com, or shoutcasting online radio.

become a web-comic artist (even if you can't draw for toffee) at www.stripcreator.com

Broaden your horizons by learning about the wide world at wikipedia (they have a random article option) - maybe even contribute.

I'm in the process of building a web portal as a learning project for web design, so I spend a lot of time researching sites, building a list of links, compiling a list of events and info from other sites.

I also visit forums and websites that give tutorials on CSS, PHP, MySQL etc.
In fact this is the only reason I got the internet, so I really shouldn't spend so much time on message boards. Usually if I am on BBMB it means I am trying to work out the next part of what I am doing and I allow myself to chill a bit while I think.

But really, the internet is an amazing thing. There is so much information on it. ANYTHING you want to learn is online. Don't waste it.

no i don't think i have a TFN. i remember i applied for one in year 11 through school but i called up the TaxOffice before i started working and they said i never had one. so i thought fuck it...

i couldn't get last working year's tax because of that, but now that i'm 18 - i'm getting taxed 48.5% of my pay. :( so i need to get this shit sorted out.

my last working years' pay will be added to this year's total though...but...have to wait another 10 months. (n)
