yes - i answered an ad for a girl who's profile really spoke to me, i bought credits and set up a profile just to respond to her. plus she was smokin'. i've been seeing her for 4 months on & off... i think she was worth it.

I don't trust online dating. My one friend does it, and finds all these hot guys, and i'm like...there's a reason why they're online, if they're really hot. It's because they're too psycho to find and keep a lady in real life. It's usually true, with the mens she finds.

OR Maybe it's easier for them to choose. I mean, some people like to choose a potential partner in the comfort of their chairs and wearing underpants and all that. Like "let me click on this one and then I'll click on that one while I scratch my hairy bollocks and then I see her pictures and this and that..."

Think about it.:p

its only online till you meet, then its just like dating anyone else. and yes, being able to pick is good. some people don't like to date the first loser who shows interest just because.

I haven't done it, but I know some people who have. They were a bit older, and were ready for a serious relationship. They all seem to have found people who wanted the same things on e-harmony. Even my psycho ex-friend apparently found someone who digs her.

One guy hasn't fared so well but I suspect he's gay and he's too hardcore Christian to admit it.

sheesh

I have a friend who has/is doing it. He found a fine lady after going through about ten nutcases. Obviously I have another friend who is considering it. :D

It's not a generalization. I was referring specifically to the men she's met. And it's true. They're all into headgames and 6th grade bullshit like that. (n)

Well....I met and dated my wife from online. She was the least psycho one I chatted with and we hit it off when we met in-person. It then became a regular dating thang.

We've been together for 1 1/2 years now and got married end of August 2005.

So.....it can work out.

I prefer real human interaction...preferably on the dance floor.

You are still doing it. You assume ALL men are like that. Not cool.

I would say a lot of them are, but not all of them.
