View Full Version : The Curb Your Enthusiasm season premiere was kind of a let down.

:(
It's become predictable. I can already see the menu on the wall at Leo's Deli covered with masking tape from the names of all the sandwiches being switched around by the end of the season.

meh, never really got into that show in the first place.
maybe I'll try it again on DVD.
It had its moments but it wasn't as good as I was hoping. I don't think we will be seeing Leo's menu that much.
But I'm sure we will see larry get some sort of revenge on the kid.
Extras was pretty fucking good though.

I had a small Curb party and half of us liked the premier and the other half was like...so so. Coincidentally, we ate at a deli beforehand.
I laughed hard at Larry's horror when that one guy mistook Susie for Larry's wife. Otherwise, right, it was predictable and a little silly.

I think it's a horrible show personally, so not suprised by any reports of lacklusterness

Piss off.
I think I laughed hardest when Larry told Jeff to shut the fuck up. That was just perfect. And you're right, enree. Larry's disgust at the thought of Susie being his wife was pretty funny.

I worship Larry David, and I loved the way the last season ended, but I no longer have HBO. I wore out my friends making them tape Six Feet Under and I don't dare ask for Curb Your Enthusiasm. So even if it's lackluster, at least you're seeing it. :(
I've heard that he's hilarious on some of the Seinfeld commentaries.

whenever i watch this show i think to myself, "GODDAMNIT! stop being such a jew!" it kind of scares me. but isn't that the whole point of the show?

The other funny moment for me was the shut the fuck up moment. I'd forgotten about that. My friends turned to me and laughed because I say that to them in person every maybe tenth sentence.
I think season premiers are hard to get just right.
