did anybody watch this last night? it was on a midnight on BBC2 and they interviewed kool herc, GMF, casanova fly, jazzy jay, bambaataa, half of double trouble, fab5freddy and loads of random break boys and break girls. and i also learned a lot or cool stuff. how people used to go out on the street and plug their boomboxes and turntables into the nearest lamp post and have a party and the police would show up but leave em alone cause they were'nt causin trouble.
it also had a lot of interesting stuff in too.
anyone catch it?

I wonder if it's that history of hip hop thing from VH1 over here from this time last year?

it could be. it was about the origins. it was more about the south bronx where it started and when it moved into queens and brooklyn.

You know as well as I do that the Beasties always have their contribution played down, like that bitch, big-girls-blouse Eminem was the first ever white rapper.
