Yes, I know this topic is hardly original but what obscure/ unusual songs would you like to see the boys do versions of? I'd like them to do Revolution Rock by The Clash and Dragging me Down by The Inspiral Carpets, with Mike laying it down in both. 500 posts!

Fugazi's "Song #1". Considering it might even be inspired by them (if you've seen Fugazi's "Instrument" movie, you can hear Ian listening to Paul's Boutique in the car)... and it'd fit their style.

that'd be the shit. with MMM doing his own take of tom morello. yeah that would be the shit. i think the boys could do a good cover of coin return by AFI. you know, back when AFI was listenable.

Depends on the song, Yauch would be good on say, Clampdown, but I reckon Mike (Crawford???) is more suited to Revolution Rock.

I always thought Michael Crawford was the guy who played Frank Spencer. Perhaps the boys are fans of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. Well, who isn't?
