I have no idea. I had wads of clove soaked dressing on my wisdom holes for 2 full weeks after the surgery. I never felt the stitches.

A few days after I had my gum surgery, a chuck of gum suddenly was floating in my mouth. I spit it out and freaked thinking the stiching came out. Nah, it was just a tab that was going to come loose eventually.
