just wondering, if there are any uk skaters on here, if anyone is as excited about the new stoke skate park as i am? its one of the biggest street parks in europe, i was a little disapointed when i found it it was outside but i guess they cant build something this big.

That is one of the best outdoor parks I have ever seen. Its like something out of THUG 2 or some shit. I think its funny how they have stairs where some of the rails are though. How deep are those bowls supposed to be?

i guess it looks cool but that looks more ramp based and im a street skater :p the 24hr and floodlight thing is cool though. i tihnk this is 24hr but i dont know about floodlights.

You can't really tell from those photos but there are bowls and rails and grinds all over that park.

I used to, haven't in a while though. I even got a bronze in a UK comp in Manchester way back when in 1998...

Yeah...a 24 hour free skatepark is fresh.

But the UK one has a LOVE park kind of vibe to it. And that is pretty noice as fuck.

i never skated love park, though i did get my first board in nyc when it was open, but didnt know about it.

Pssst....love park is in philly. You could have driven there from NYC though. But you might as well have tried hitting up the brooklyn banks if it wasn't skate stopped up at the time (unless that was a rumour).

That park does look sick. It's nice to see that planners are taking heed of making a park that's not like a park.

yeah one of my friends college lecturers helped design it, and is getting me, since none of my friends skate, a pass to the opening day.
