They've had a one kilometer long fishing line with a squid as a bait. It took several days for them to catch the big squid attacking. Apparently this one was 8 meters long, but they can become 18 meters. The attack had been quite fierce, the squid lost one of the tentacles and it came up with the fishing line, still moving when it reached the boat :eek:

yeah i read about it

the camera took a photo every 30 secs

attached to the camera was two mesh bags filled with squid stuff

and the got cuaght on the cameras hook and took like ages away to get off it and it lost a tentacle
and like b grrlie said the arm was still moving when they took it up
