Yeah so I'm in the states now and I did have full intents to fly to Alexendria La. to pick my daughter up and bring her here to Ohio with me. Well, I can't get a ticket to La now cause of hurricane Rita. I probably won't be able to get a ticket to there at all till they get some stuff cleared up and by that time, if I don't happen to find a decent job in the states, I will already be back in Kuwait. Damn I miss her and it probably won't be till next year that I'll see her again.

In the meantime though, I'm seeing my mother and my wife is here in the states for the first time visiting my friends and family with me.

Man, I had no idea you had a kid in the middle of all that shit going on down south. I know you are dying to see her as I am dying to see my little girl in NYC but in light of recent of events try to take solace in these words:

It sucks that you won't be able to see your daughter until next year but be grateful that you will be able to see your daughter next year.

you know, for the main part, I was worried about her safety and with that, she is. I've been keeping in touch with her the whole time while the hurricane was in their area and she's alright.

I'm just a little pissed with my ex cause she knew this hurricane was coming her way but she didn't evacuate because she was very reliant on Fort Polk being only 5 minutes away. She thought she can go there if anything got too bad. It's all said and done now and the only thing soothing me was the voice of my little girl knowing everything is alright.
