I make no excuses, I love the xylophone. Many great songs use this wonderful instrument....And I want more

Rolling Stones ~ Monkey Man
Cypress Hill ~ Illusions
Edwyn Collins ~ A Girl like You
Violent Femmes ~ Gone Daddy Gone

Keep those good vibs flowin'

Urm, "Good Vibrations" by The Beachboys? That's a theramin, not a xylophone...

Incidently, I wanted to record a prog-rock album consisting of solos on the theramin called "sounds of my anus."

Err, Good luck with that prog-rock record you're working on. Hope everything works out all right...I would name it SOMA if you plan on selling records

In the meantime, I'm looking for songs more in the lines of Roy Ayers ~ Running Away....While I was well aware that the Beach Boys Good Vibrations didn't use the xylophone The Rolling Stones Let it Bleed LP inlay says simply vibes. Hopefully you can clarify that for me. Perhaps that is this theramin you speak so fondly of or it could even be a vibraphone. While you work on that, I'm gonna go out and have me a swingin' time~It's 11 here so I only have 6 more hours to work my magick. Thank you in advance and have a great Thursday night

"The vibraphone, sometimes called the vibraharp or simply the vibes, is a musical instrument in the percussion family."

"Bill Wyman Let It Bleed Synthesizer, Keyboards, Harp, Vibraphone, Vocals, Bass, Autoharp"
