"Some of these guys could be in the regular Olympics"

"Maybe on the French team"

I took one look at that and I knew I'd see the Farrelly Brothers name somewhere. These guys have an obsession with the handicapped. I can't believe Brian Cox is in that.

Offensive or not, I just think it's idiotic.

The computer that I'm on right now doesn't have working audio so I couldn't hear anything but as soon as I saw Johnny Knoxville in a confessional I automatically thought this cannot be kosher and clicked it off.

So just based on appearances alone I will say offensive.

Well...they are gonna have a nice warm message about how developmentally challenged/handicapped/handicapable people are good people and should be treated like everyone else so it will make all the retard jokes ok.

Saying 'retarted' is offensive, it's not PC.

Anyways, it could definately be interpreted as offensive, but I will have to see it before saying that it is offensive. The trailor makes me a bit less keen to see it though...

Its like a white version of "Radio"
How do you compare Johnny Knoxville to Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Ed Harris? That's a stretch.

Yeah, now that I know it's poking fun at the disabled, I definitely won't be seeing it. I probably wouldn't be seeing it no matter what it was about. I haven't seen anything with Johnny Knoxville. Not even that thing on cable where he was doing dumb ass dangerous shit.

i will compare him to this kid who screeched and then ran into the lunchroom flailing his arms wildly the other day

They need to give up. After Dumb and Dumber they should have just crawled into a hole somewhere.

I don't think it's any more offensive than the Spanish Special Olympics basketball team.

I'm more offended that Johnny Knoxville still gets work.

I know the Farrellys have gotten a lot of comedic mileage out of disabled people of some sort, but here they look like they're on autopilot.

I didn't find it offensive, and yeah south park did this and probably did it funnier in 20 minutes than they will in 2 hours

I'm going to give you some time to mull that part of the statement over while I watch Law & Order. In the meantime, here are some Tylenol PM if you would like to sleep on it.

Kingpin was fun. Something About Mary too.

This is what one of the brothers said about disabled people by the way.

"It's not just putting people with disabilities in the movies - it's putting them in and letting them be a wide range of characters. Some of them are funny, some of them are not, some of them are nice, some of them are jerks. They're just like everybody else. If a guy came up to us and he was physically disabled or something and he was mad at us for something we did, it would kill us. Me or Pete - it would kill us."

Ah well.

On a vaguely related note, Bubble Boy cracked me up.
