I caught a few minutes of a show on PBS the other night about protest music or something of that sort. Anyway, there was some footage of a Beastie Boys show with a song that used the Incredible Bongo Band version of 'Apache' as the beat with the Beasties rappin over it.

Anyone know what track this is?

Thanks,
Is this released anywhere -- How should I go about finding this?

It's on the Tibetian Freedom Concert CD that was released in 1997.

It's also bonus material on the Free Tibet DVD.

On amazon.com the 'Root Down' on the Tibetan Freedom cd appears to have the same beat as the studio version of the song. Is there more to the song than just the amazon sample?

The song im looking for sampled 'Apache' in a similar style to Nas' 'Made You Look' -- a very similar style.

They don't use the "Apache" sample for the whole song, that's why you can't hear it on Amazon.

Yeah, it's the TFC version.

Apache is sampled in the bridge and for the second verse, I believe.
