I like the way it's set up, Minton. Don't get me wrong. The photo gallery pix are tits. Especially the one taken from the fifteeth floor hotel room. I like everything about it........except the first page. I've always had an aversion to the color yellow ever since my grandmother made wear some yellow bellbottoms to school one day. :( And baby blue has always been my shit, so a no contest right there. I liked the way the skyline would move back and forth, too.

But change keeps thing from getting old and stale so it's all good.

A cool new look for the new CD! I had a scare for a second thinking the links were all messed up. Bravo for not using cheesy photos of the band like every other site. :)

Some of the comments in this thread are confusing me. The actual content is the same, right? It's just the front page and color scheme that changed? Or am I missing something new?

Meh...

The collection of images (baby, cats, stereo, etc.) doesn't flow well. Just looks like a cluttered mess. Looks very amateurish and suits for an amateur/unofficial fansite than an official site.

cheese is good.i think it references check your head with all the photos. and hello? did you look at the cover of the cd? mega gouda there. love it

and yellow rocks. its not used enough!

anyway, an amateur site would use photos of them nivked from other sites and it would be called www.imhavingadrockslovechild.com or something.

We test everything we do with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Safari and we haven't seen any problems like this. (We use current versions of each browser, though back one or two versions will be the same).

The only thing which I see that could cause a problem with the A Cappella page is if you have JavaScript disabled or restricted in some way.

As for the the Audio page: that hasn't been changed at all with this reskin...so it's odd that you guys can't see it.

just fixed the issue with the blank audio page. It should be fine now. As for the a cappella box, i'm still not quite sure what the issue might be. i did some changes but i'm not sure if that did the trick or not. let us know.

I've tested this on a number of machines running IE 6.0 with Windows XP and Windows 2000 and haven't seen this problem at all. It only seems to be affecting a small number of people - so there must be an issue with some people having their browser configured so that it's senstive to what we're doing (eg. disabling or limiting JavaScript).

I'll take another look through everything today though to see if we can make it right.

It sounds like you don't have the Flash plugin installed within Firefox. You have to install it even if you have it installed in IE.

The links were being generated by JavaScript, I changed it so it doesn't use any JavaScript any more. It may have been a third party application blocking the JavaScript command (some anti-virus software does this for example)...

And when you say that "the band" is involved, do you mean that it isn't just you two deciding how it will change? And when you say "the band" does that mean the three men who appear as the Beastie Boys? Or is some other band calling the shots here? I could use some further clarification. Thanks.

1) The boards won't be changing for now (so you can ignore the prior discussion about any changes here).

2) TPK and I don't decide how things look on the site at all, or even the content of the site. No way. That's the band's job. We're just executing ideas.
