Wouldn't it be nice - all released on the same day. What other artist could pull this off?

1) Beastie Boys funk-soul jazz LP

2) Beastie Boys hip hop LP

2) Beastie Boys hardcore LP

Interesting, but part of the reason i love say Ill Communiation is that all those styles and the general diversity are weaved into one record which maintains its own sound throughout.

But yeah, you're right in saying the Beasties could pull it of if they wanted to.

that would be pretty bloody awesome, and then you'd have the box set of all three. Would get huge attention and probably make a killing. But it'd probably take sooooo long to make.

Use your ILLusion. fnar. :p

Weren't they planning on doing shows in each of the five boroughs on one day, flying to each via helicopter?

They could have borrowed Jimmy Pages'.

Does anybody else think they'd laugh (in a nice way) at calling it this?

Now you mentioned solo albums, do you guys think they will release a solo album someday (Im not counting BS2000 and Country Mike, ok?), a hip hop solo album????

I'd wait six years for that.

How about this: a combination funk/hiphop/hardcore album? Like not have each kind of song on the album, but combine it in the same songs? Like have a Licenced to Ill ("punk" and rock beats) and Paul's Boutique (funky stuff) combo? Maybe even combine all three? I'm listening to Shadrach now and I'm thinking they could add some guitars in that, I think sticking all three concepts together in one song could work. It would take a lot of creativity, but I know they got it.

Yes.

I can just see it, the 'Beastie Boys funk-soul jazz LP' in limited edition candy apple green vinyl. The first 100 sold should come with bow-ties. (lb)
