Congratulations you two. You are very lucky to have found each other.
Beth: what were you thinking when you joined? Not that you would find the love of your life, I'm guessing.

The term "spinal stenosis" is derived from the Greek origin meaning narrowing of a normally larger opening, specifically in the location of the spinal canal. This is primarily a function of aging, and previously was understood that if one was diagnosed with it, one just had to live and suffer from the pain.
hey, why haven't they posted here yet? what do you think they're doing?
oh wait a minute...beth posted

WOW that is so awesome that a Beastie Site got two people married.. how did that happen...?
well anyways congratulations!!!
thanks everyone for your congrats and well wishes.
we got married at sunset on october 1st -- it was simple, nice and beautiful, and i've never been happier.
it's now one week later and we both still can't believe this is where we are, but we're very glad to be here. the words husband, wife and married still make us laugh like we're children playing grown-ups. :)

cool (y)
I don't even really know you guys but since you frequent the BBMB, you must be sharp, intelligent, bright and beautiful. Even though, I'm still queasy and nervous at the mere mention of "wedding" or "marriage" because it just seems so.....you know.....permenant :D .
To the two of you, here's a cyber-toast,
It is with great pleasure that I say congratulations to b and b... may you share many warm days and many warm nights... "everybody raise your glass... here's to b and b..."

thanks everyone so much for all the positive thoughts.
i have to admit i was a lil nervous about the casual-ness of the event, but everything fell into place perfectly. the 5 day forecast was calling for 70% t-storms, but on the big day there wasn't a cloud in the sky. the whole experience was a lil surreal, almost like i was watching it in the 3rd party via sky cam or something.
beth's friend from outta town performed the ceremony and i'm happy she did. i had a few peeps from the hammer come down, and main man shep, signed the witness portion; forever an integral part of our documented committment. although we had hoped for an elvis / vegas thing, i'm very happy with the way things worked out locally. we're hoping to renew our vows there at a later date.
beth is so much more than i could have ever hoped or dreamed for. in the early days i felt completely intimidated by her beauty and brains. these days, she continues to wow me more and more each day. consequently, i find myself loving her more and more each day. life is grand. go internet!
