I've had this idea for an invention for quite a while and tomorrow I submit it.

Book readers, tell me what you think. It's like a harnest that's really lightweight and it straps on your shoulders via velcro. It's made to hold books or magazines and it has spring loaded fingers that hold your pages down. It has a flexible goose-neck light that hangs above your book so you can read it outdoors or in your home for the right amount of light for your reading.

I want to make two models of it. One, you have to turn the pages manually and the other of course being the more expensive model, it will turn the pages for you.


I really think Turd will like my idea cause it will save him from having pages sticking together. (y)

it hasn't been introduced yet. They do a quick review of their database and tell you if it's been done yet. Trust me, they don't want to waste their time.

Marching bands have something similar but it's not quite like my idea.

Not that I read books or anything, but I can't think of many activities I'd be doing where I'd want to be strapped down with some kind of book-holding device when I can just use my two hands...it's like the ultimate in laziness. So, I'm sure it'll sell!

jabumbo, I wish I could make the time to get to the Burgh. The only way I can surely have the time is if I get a better job or if the invention working..

I might just go back to Baghdad cause adam's true. I can be a door to door salesman to try to push my invention off. Shit, I'll even put a reverse page turner on it so the arabic can read their books.

update- I went to the inventions office yesterday and talks were made. There is no such invention but it's gonna cost me a good chunk of change to get it off the ground. I'm still debating on it cause there still is a chance that it wont be of benifit. I gotta think little.

Maybe I'll meet jabumbo and we can decide what to do with it..
