Shit plots make things grow better (fertilizer and all that is for AMATEUR gardeners!).

Shit characters...well...they're easy to mold and shape, but they make your hands smell....ewww....

As for LOST, well...I haven't SEEN any shit plots (except for the one that Jin's working on) nor shit characters (the cloud's black, man, not brown)...but I'll sure keep looking....

Erm, the show is entertaining, but it's not exactly as groundbreaking as alot of people say it is. The thing that bothers me the most is how people keep talking about how unpredictable Lost is, when I've been able to correctly predict what happens in almost every episode. Eh, maybe I'm just a super-genius or something. :rolleyes:

I watched this piece of garbage. I live in South Florida and I can say that South Floridians do not wear jean jackets and long sleeved shirts in the summer. They also showed a school letting out as the hurricane is making landfall and people were boarding up windows as high winds whipped around them. Aliens are one thing but at least get the small things right. I think this show sucks. I like Lost and for the record I would say groundbreaking television is an oxymoron.

I watched the entire 1st season last weekend (hey I had 3 days off and felt like being a bum) It's a pretty good show but there is a lot of filler crap in there that could go. That's one thing that I hate about TV there is rarely any closure or anything. You can tell that the show became popular and so now they're like "Okay now do we keep them watching next week?" I mean yeah I wanna know what happens but I don't want to have to sit through three or four bullshit episodes before anything interesting goes down.

the whole point of invasion is not to be reality, it is a comicbook style of show, with much faster pacing and way less filler than lost. I never could stand any show filmed in Seattle on TV either, when you live in the town a TV show is filmed it always seems fake, ie; Frasier, grey's anatomy and a slew of others filmed here in Seattle.

invasion is cool, give it a second chance. the parallels to actual reports of alien encounters are subtle, they've done the homework. I don't really give a shit, you know TV is a vast wasteland, but at least this mindless entertainment isn't jerking me around or being hyper-mystical like lost.

David Lynch is about the only guy who could rescue lost IMO.

Seeing as I dont watch it I'm hardly an expert but I thought the hobbit was a drug dealer and the posh guy is that bald bloke who's probably got a dark secret. Probably a fuckin cannibal or Jack the Ripper or summat.
