I just got a beatles album [abbey road] (don't make fun of me  ) and I was listening to this song called "the end" and I was wondering where I heard that beat before. And then I realized it was the beasties! the sounds of science off paul's boutique. Now that's funny. The beasties sampled the beatles...anyone else ever noticed that?

it's actually guitar from "the end" and beat from "sgt. peppers." you can remember it with this simple equation:

beasties + dust brothers = (y)

sorry, i just finished studying for an astronomy test. i have many equations on the brain.

The sounds of science uses both a drum beat from Sgt Peppers (the song, not the album) and the guitar and drums from "the end" :)

Let me set the record on the plate. I mean straight:
Actually, Mike D's uncle is the son of John Lennon's barber's second cousin's snake handler. Which, as it turns out, makes Yauch totally cool. Any questions? Ask Horovitz, he wrote the book on Family Ties. Or, at least, he might have seen the show once. That's all for now. Go do your knitting practice already.

Why isn't that book available in Pennsylvania anymore?

Is it fair to compare Paul's Boutique to Sgt. Pepper? And Couldn't you compare the Beatles to the Beastie Boys in terms of both of them experimenting and becoming more creative.

The most interesting comparison between the Beatles and the Beastie Boys is this one:

The Beastie Boys were once alleged (falsely) to have mocked crippled kids.
The Beatles actually mocked crippled kids while on stage. John Lennon used to do his impression of "spastics" while on stage in the early days.
