I'm gonna need you guys to entertain me for the next 3 hours or so, so I'm stealing Scary Sq's idea from yesterday.

I'll stick around to answer the questions though...

What do you think of the song Teenage Wasteland?

You wouldn't be bored if you answered your pending requests. Just sayin'...

Maybe jabumbo has a point.

Yeah.

What is the most clever thing you've ever done for your wife?

I like Baba O'Riley better, but it's OK.

I'll hop over to myspace in a sec. and add you on.

As far as most clever, probably the way I proposed to her. It was extremly hokey, but worked...

As you may or may not know, I have an extensive Sport Jersey collection, and at a time it was getting a little overwhelming as far as money spent.

One week she went away for work, and it was the week I bought the ring. So what I did was took the ring and hung it to a hanger attached by a string, and put in in my "jersey closet". When she came home, I ask her if she wanted to see my latest purchase (which I what I alway say when I buy a new jersey), she got really pissed at me, then I took the hanger out, and proposed. She responded with "I hate you." and then said yes.

Never. Although I'd probably be 50 pounds lighter than I am now if 10 years ago, someone blew up the one that was next to my High School.

At work, when confronted by either a "pointy headed intellectual" or a "so called know it all" do you suffer their bullshit and humor them or should a person just flat out tell them to fuck off and go clean something?

No Idea. It wasn't me who mentioned you.

Dunno, the only pic I've ever seen of her she was wearing a hat.

Wow, ummm... I probably couldn't put an exact number on it, but to equate each drink it to a 12oz beer, I'd probably say about 20 beers or so.

I usually wait to hear what they ahve to say, and then do one of two things...

#1 Answer them as sarcastically as possible.

or

#2 Respond with a question or comment that has nothing to do with what they were talking about.

Hey you could kill 2 birds with one stone by saying, "Would you like fries with that"? Unless you worked at McDonalds, BK or Jack in the Box....otherwise, Gold. (y)

You probably do, but don't have that stop you from going anywhere.

Others may get sick because of you, but my mom always told me to share.

Pick one, then if it all goes to shit, you have no one to blame but yourself.

If it's something that absolutely needs to be done today, you just gotta suck it up and get it done.

If it can wait for tomorrow, do it tomorrow. You'll probably be more motivated then.

Answer honestly.

To lead my team this year? Peyton.

If I was drafting a franchise? Eli.

When all is said and done, who will have better numbers? Peyton.

When all is said and done, who will have more SB rings? Eli.

At least I hope.

Eli throws harder, but Peyton just has this touch. I dunno, but I think you are right about the rings.

It's still way too early to know exactly what Eli has to offer.

But The Plax to Eli combo looks like it can be something special for a few years.

Not inconsistent, just old. It's not like he has a habit of dropping passes.

Yeah Shockey's a plus, if he keeps his yapper shut.

I'll probably be bored again tomorrow afternoon, so I'll most likely bump this thread around 2:00 ET tomorrow.

OK, I'm reviving this thread, because I am quite possibly MORE bored at work than I was the other day.

So ask away...

I have to go to bed soon as I'm working a really early shift tomorrow. Should I bother having a shave, or just let it grow?

By the way, I just got back from a trip to Holland and already haven't shaved for two days.

I personally only shave once a week. I probably should shave once every 5 days, but I don't feel it's necessary.

I gues it would depend on the kind of job you have. You can probably get away with not shaving for a day, as long as you're not constantly seeing customers or clients.

I'll take that as a "don't bother shaving" (y)

I work in an office, and we don't have to meet people, and can generally wear what we want to work. I think tomorrow I'm gonna go for the Vagrant Hitchhiker look

what is the time limit on a pair of socks, and does that extend past the midnight hours.

I could potentially be wearing the same socks for around 16 hours a day.

On the other hand I can have a shower at 10 pm after hockey, put on a pair of socks..then go to bed at 12pm after taking off said socks, and those socks are in my mind taboo for rewear...but only have had 2 hours usage

I need a steadfast sock rule, please provide one.

I think 10-12 hours is the limit.

What you need to do in invest in a pair of slippers or flipflops to wear from the time you're done with post-hockey shower, to the time you go to bed.

Its genius, that would double my available sock stock.

Is wearing slippers considered "pampering" ones self, cause i don't pamper.

No, it's considered a way to walk around without getting the bottom of your feet dirty.
