Does anyone else's Broadband connection fuck up and a thing comes on the screen that says 'local cable unplugged' ?

is there a way of stopping this and getting a broadband connection that doesn't fuck up when I'm playing online poker and lose all my money? (not real money but still!)

Sounds like your connection is faulty. Either one of the plugs, or the cable is broken, and will need to be replaced.

That or your hub / router is faulty (overheating?) - try updating the firmware to the latest version to see if that will help.

And if you play on playpoker.com, Add me to your buddylist and I'll join you for a few hands. Already more than trippled my outlay.

mine does this too. my combination router/modem will just decide to reset itself.

Hmmm, my housemate had this problem. Firmware update fixed that too.
