In the latest issue of The Fader. There's some interesting things here. Among them:
Prince Paul talking about how they had sampled the Under Pressure bassline during the 3 Feet High... sessions, well before Ice Ice Baby came out, but ended up scrapping the idea.
Del talking about how Ice Cube wrote Pissin On Your Steps, and how he'd helped Cube write Who's The Mack and Gangsta's Fairytale?
DMC talking about how Slow And Low was supposed to be on King Of Rock, and how Rick Rubin kind of persuaded them to let the Beasties have it, which sort of negates the way Yauch tells it in the Anthology liner notes.
Young Guru talking about how the beat that later became Alicia Keys' You Don't Know My Name was first presented to Jay-Z by Kanye during the Blueprint sessions.
They'll be adding some more untold stories to their website in the next little while, supposedly. (www.thefader.com)
