I love new computers. My laptop blew up to. It kinda died so I tried some upgrades using a hacksaw. Heh, was fun until the flames.

I got an 80 GB computer to (from 20 GB), but then I soon added a another 163 GB to be pricise as I've already used over 110 GB now!

But YAY, new computer smell!

New computer smell sucks, you gotta keep upgrading your original computer till all thats left that is original is the floppy disk drive (y)

I haven't used a floppy disk in so long. I nearly didn't bother for my current computer (cus I bought it in bits and glued it together myself). But then I thought, no doubt someone will enter my home one day that requires a floppy disk. What would of been cool if I got one of those large floppy drives - think 7 and half inch? RETRO. Much respect to anyone who still uses them!

I have a computer with one of them in it, an IBM PC XT, a superior version of the first IBM PC with a colour video card and 20 mb (or thereabouts) hard drive (y)

I bought it for 50 cents at a school fete, now apparently I can sell if for like 200 bucks, even if it doesnt work. It was $8,000 bucks when it first came out, and thats 1983 dollars!!!

I might check out some local sales for old bits of computers and build it back together. Then I'll play frogger! :D

I used to have an Amiga to. I wonder that is. Even better if I still have it. Ah man, I wish I kept the old SEGA mastersystem and such like. Gamegear, Lynx & old skool Gameboy for the handhelds...

thanks (y) , the reason I say 4 gig is because that shows how much of a piece of shit my computer was.

If by "here" you mean Australia, well thats not right because we probably get the cheapest parts out of all of the western world, because we are so close to asia. I mean if you know the right shops in melbourne you can get a new computer including monitor and everything for about 450-500 bucks.

If you mean Tassie, well yeah I dunno :(
